AI-powered biometric identity for head-mounted devices
Cernovis binds the wearer's iris signature to a secure device credential inside VR and AR headsets — so authentication, payments and licensed content are tied to the person actually wearing the device, and verified continuously while they do.
How it works
A patented two-factor identity system: the wearer's eye signature, bound to a secure credential in the headset itself. Identity is checked when the headset goes on — and re-checked continuously while it stays on.
At purchase or enrolment, the user's verified identity is bound to their biometric signature and the device credential.
On donning the headset, a compact AI model running locally matches the eye signature to the credential holder before any session begins — biometric data never leaves the device.
Identity is re-verified throughout the session. If the headset comes off or the wearer changes, access ends instantly.
First market
New-release films, at home, in a private VR auditorium. One verified viewer per ticket — premium home release without opening the door to piracy.
Beyond the theatre
Wherever it matters who is inside the headset, the same patented, AI-powered stack applies.
For investors
Cernovis Ltd is raising a £2.5M seed round to complete the Virtual Theatre proof of concept, sign a launch studio partner and run a closed pilot on a custom-built headset.
